Superb

Stayed here for a week. Mr & Mrs Vickers were very welcoming and keep the site immaculate. The grass is kept well mown and the hardstandings and pitches are level. The toilet and other facilities are spotless. There are several walks from the site which as a dog owner was perfect as one can follow the disused railway line and go in a big circle coming back along the very attractive river to the site. We visited several castles and in particular found the ones at Chillingham and Warkworth wonderful together with beautiful and almost deserted beaches. Finally we look forward to visiting this superb CL next season.

A one off site. Remarkable.

Our third stay here and it most certainly won't be the last. Peaceful...spotless..kind caring owner...beautiful location...nothing is too much trouble..the owner Harry and his wife work tirelessly to keep this site in immaculate order. It speaks for its self as you drive in from the road. There are amazing walks for the dogs..scenic and right by the river if u have dogs like ours that like to swim. Many people return year after year and they all say the same about this site and its owners. If only there were more CL site's that offered what this one does...The caravan Club should use this one as a fine example/ to.promote what a CL should be kept like. It's way beyond excellent. Thank you Harry for sharing your little piece of heaven with us all.

Low Hedgeley Farm

Good site with pitches well spaced. Own clean water tap so safe drinking water. Site described as suitable children but as a working farm and stock on nearby footpaths, it is definitely NOT. No swings or such. Requires Notice Board for local amenities and Emergency/doctors/vets tel details. Guests could also leave unwanted Tourist literature for next arrivals. Welcoming owner and as others have said grass is short, and site is a credit to owner and network. Toilet could do to be separate male/female but was spotless during our stay. Would definitely use again. J & R

GREAT SITE FOR US DOGS

Our owners booked this site at the last minute after a change of plan and the owner, Harry was very helpful and fitted us in for a week. For us dogs it is a perfect base as we could go on walks straight from the site entrance, plenty of options too on which way to go. The site is kept in pristine condition, we have never seen any CL owners take so much pride in their investment. Nothing is left to chance. If we are brought back up here again we would be more than happy to stay here again. From Anna and Arri, two very happy dogs.

A charming friendly site

What a lovely C.L.,on arrival we were greeted by the owner Harry Vickers and were made extremely welcome. The site was immaculate and well manicured, each pitch with both electrical hook up and water point ,and with plenty of space between each van. The toilet was spotless and obviously well cared for. A real treasure!

A jem

We have just returned from our third visit from Low Hedgerley, we love it. Excellent walks for the dog directly from the site, either along the disused railway track or down by the river. Easy access to the wonderful beaches and excellent pubs. The site is kept immaculate - better than ours at home ! - with the grass cut ( and picked up) so no clippings trailing into the 'van, and lovely stone troughs filled with flowers is a really nice touch. Mr & Mrs Vickers are very friendly and Mr V calls regularly to make sure everything is alright. We will certainly be back. Thank you Harry for another wonderful stay.

Low hedgeley farm

This cl is immaculate, we stayed here for a week and a half recently and was very impressed with the space allowed for each caravan, you have your own water supply as well for what I believe to be a fair price. There's a toilet and handbasin that's cleaned every day, the owners Mr and Mrs Vickers obviously work hard to keep this all so tidy. Brilliant place if you have a dog as you can walk to the moors from site or onto a short run of the disused railway line or down to river near the working quarry

Peaceful Beautiful Site

Late September 2016 and we found the site almost by accident on our travels home and south, what a lucky find. The owner fitted us in despite the fact we were passing by and called in on spec late in the afternoon. We were greeted as if we were regular visitors and made so welcome we stayed a couple of nights to explore the area. Fabulous walks straight from the farm a nearby village shop and cafe meant we stayed an extra day but we could have done with several days at the site as there is much to do and see locally and its so peaceful. Never mind we will be back I'm sure.
